The last year has played havoc with our emotions and with our physical fitness, yet it is more important than ever before that we continue to put our health first, especially given this crisis that we are living through. What this means for all of us is that when we are at home, we have to do all that we can in order to make sure that we remain in our best shape physically. Fitness experts such as Selin Sakarcan have been highly vocal about this in the last 12 months and the reality is that it is not hard to keep yourself in good shape at home. No Equipment

One common complaint which many have is the lack of equipment in terms of gym gear, and that is why they are not able to work out at home. The truth of the matter however is that gym equipment at home is very much a luxury, and not having it should mean nothing with regards to getting in shape and having a great workout. When it comes to running or squats, sit-ups or press-ups, burpees or planks, you do not need any equipment at all in order to do these exercises. Anyone who needs a workout just needs a small amount of space and the desire to do it.

Thanks to what the worldwide web has brought us, we really are blessed in terms of the amount of support which we have out there. This means that even those of us who know nothing about fitness and who have no idea what to work out, how to work out or when, can have access to a huge amount of support and a huge amount of resources which can help to make sure that we are doing all that we can to stay in good physical health. There is more free support out there than ever before, and that really doesn’t give any of us an excuse not to work out.

All About Desire

Given that we have all of this access to fitness plans and tips, given that we don’t need equipment at home in order to workout, the only thing that we truly do need in order to get fit at home is the desire to do so. And so the choice is between two things, either give in to the temptations of being at home, loaf around watching TV and gain weight which you don’t want, or get fit. It is a much better use of your time to workout and it is going to ensure that when all of this lockdown is over, you storm out of the house looking in great shape, and showing that you stayed strong during lockdown and changed your body for the better.
