Holiday Keywords: Earth Day Edition
If you’re an online marketer, PR pro, digital journalist, or social media manager, you know it’s that time again – there’s a major holiday around the corner and you need to figure out what (and how!) to write about it. As far as the “what”, we’ll leave that up to you, but when it comes to the “how”, we’ll help you out. This edition of Holiday Keywords is dedicated to Earth Day, which is coming up this Sunday, April 22.
So, Earth Day… who doesn’t love finding something to say about it? More than 175 countries celebrate this holiday every year with various events to increase awareness and appreciation of the Earth’s natural environment. Whether you’re writing about the environmentally friendly features of your product or creating a story on natural resources, solar wind, or ways to go green, you’re certainly not alone.
Notice the terms “environment,” “environmentally friendly,” “solar wind,” “natural resources,” and “green” in the paragraph above – they may seem random, but they are no accident. These are all 5 star terms in context of the Earth Day theme according to the InboundWriter application (Minimize Search Competition setting). Here are a few others:
Earth Day (5 stars)
Planet Earth (5 stars)
Environmentalism (5 stars)
Environmental Protection Agency (5 stars)
Eco friendly (4.5 stars)
Earth Week (4.5 stars)
As you write about Earth Day this week or over the weekend, consider what keywords you’re using. If you have flexiblity, incorporate these to make your holiday content more findable. Alternatively, run your content through InboundWriter. It’s free to sign up, so why not?
Good luck with your holiday posts and Happy Earth Day!
